Perenda Isom-Satterfield has 24 years of experience within the field of education. Throughout the journey of her career she has had the pleasure of working with all types of children such as: general educated, gifted, behavioral/emotional disorder, autism, and cerebral palsy. She specializes in creating strategies and techniques to best meet the needs of all children. Her passion for teaching and meeting the needs of her students led her to focus on community collaboration, which in turn gave her a drive to focus on community leadership roles. She was the founder and director of Camden Perkette Panthers Cheerleading program from 2003 - 2015, and is presently the director and founder of The Wonderful World of Autism. Both programs were and are designed to up lift and support Camden Cities youth and families with special needs or just in need of a social outlet. Perenda Isom-Satterfield received her Bachelors of Arts in Early Childhood Education from Lincoln University 1989, and Special Education Certification in 2003.
